Online Introduction Course: WELL v2 -This course can also be given in-company. Upgrade your professional WELL knowledge
1 half day online - to be followed via a sent link.
During the online WELL introduction course, you will be introduced to health in buildings. What is health really, what effect do buildings have on health, how do you achieve a healthy building and what role does WELL play in this? During the course, all these questions will be answered.
The course starts with a general introduction to health in buildings. The concept of health is explained and the impact of the built environment on health is explained. For example, do you know what the 10 most important determinants (causes) of the burden of disease in the Netherlands are? During the first part of the course, we will look at these determinants and explore how we can use the building to ensure you stay healthy for longer.
Then we will dive into the ten WELL Concepts: Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind & Community. For each theme, we explain why that aspect is important for the health of building users, based on the latest scientific literature. We not only look at long-term health, but also at comfort and productivity. At the end of the first part, you will know which health aspects you can influence with a building and why that is important.

Workshop: Health-Safety Rating - Deze training wordt momenteel alleen in-company gegeven.
Keynote speaker is Antwan van Haaren - (Senior Advisor and partner DGMR - technical manager BBI - WELL AP).
The Covid-19 pandemic has a major impact on the world. All buildings and venues are challenged in their function as meeting places for visitors and users to ensure everyone's health and safety. But how do we do this after Covid-19? What requirements does a building have to meet? How do we regain that trust?
In this workshop we discuss the WELL Health - Safety Rating, a rating that shows companies which steps can be taken in the field of hygiene and emergency procedures, safety & health measures within a building.
After the workshop, there will be plenty of time to ask questions.
Workshop - ESG Reporting, a nice to have or a must have? Unlocking sustainable value through ESG - This training is currently only given in-company.
Due to the growth of the "green and healthy" real estate market, there is an increase in new developments within the financial sector. This is not only due to the new European regulations, but also to the advent of ESG.
A good ESG policy and its performance will attract more investors. A company is free to interpret the ESG criteria, but this can be experienced as challenging. Partners and relations of the Blue Building Institute (BBI) increasingly ask for help in setting up ESG policies, securing certifications in contracts and giving advice on legal issues.
The topics that will be discussed during the workshop are:
How do you determine the "S" in ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) and why is it taking off? What is legally required and what is desired? What role do ESG, GRESB and SFDR reports play?
What is the connection / overflow between the 3.
Who are the (financial) players?
What role will High Performance / smart and data driven buildings play in the future?
How do you guarantee the investments made by means of an ESG report.
What role do WELL (re)certifications play in the (rental) contracts and the ESG report and how do you safeguard them?
Target group: investors, developers, architects, banks, appraisers, property owners, facility and hospitality organisations, high tech and IT companies.
Workshop Blue Lease - How to secure (re)certifications in your contracts. This training is currently only given in-company.
(Re)certifications provide a basis for reporting and for improving the negotiating position in sales and leases, among other things. For the lettability and value stability of real estate, it is important that (re)certifications are guaranteed in purchase and lease agreements and specifications.
The BBI Blue Lease contract translates the "blue" idea into a concept for real estate or real estate portfolios to promote value retention.
In the Blue Lease, sustainability ambitions and (re)certification requirements are laid down in an appendix to a (lease) contract. This blueprint, which BBI applies specifically per client, is part of Next Generation Real Estate.
Agreement between owner and tenants to improve health, well-being and happiness in their shared built environment.
